  Before you use your Republic Bank / AAdvantage® Mastercard® credit card at an ATM or to make a purchase, please visit a Republic Bank branch to select a Personal Identification Number (PIN) and activate your chip card.

• Mastercard® Global Service

  If your Republic Bank/ AAdvantage® Mastercard® credit card is lost or stolen while you are traveling, the Mastercard® Customer Service Centre is ready to assist you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

  The Centre will contact Republic Bank to cancel your credit card and help arrange an emergency replacement card for you.

• Travel Assistance Services*

  As a Republic Bank/ AAdvantage® Mastercard® credit card cardholder. the Mastercard® Customer Service Centre provides you with worldwide travel assistance at no additional charge. The following services are available:

  Pre-trip assistance (includes Mastercard®, passport, entry permit. vaccination requirements, weather information, currency exchange, maps, etc.)

  While traveling (includes lost luggage assistance, emergency ticket replacement, transmission of urgent messages, attorney and bail/bond service referrals, activation of Mastercard® medical assistance services. etc.)

  *Travel Assistance does not provide insurance benefits. You are responsible for any expenses incurred.

• Travel Accident Insurance

  If you are accidentally injured or die while you're traveling on a common carrier, you'll receive an insurance benefit of up to US$75,000. Travel Accident Insurance coverage also applies to your spouse and dependent children under age 23 who are traveling with you.

  BalanceCover provides credit card coverage when you need it most!

  Republic Bank BalanceCover is a group coverage plan that covers your credit card’s outstanding balance, and repays or reduces your credit card debt in case of death or disability. BalanceCover is great for everyday peace of mind and safeguarding your loved ones.

  Coverage

  • Cardholders between 18 years – 65 years.
  • Guaranteed coverage up to age 70.
  • All official cardholders on the same account are covered for the cost of one.
  • Pay one fixed premium of $0.52 for every $100 of the outstanding balance on your card. For example, if your balance at the time of billing is $500, your premium would be $2.60 ($500 x $0.52/$100 = $2.60).
  • Primary and secondary cardholder on the same account are covered at one fixed rate. Covering all cardholder lowers the cost of your plan and fully protects your credit card account.

  Death Benefit
  Each insured borrower will be insured for an amount equal to the indebtedness on the insured credit card(s) on the date of death, up to a maximum Death Benefit of EC$40,500.

Your Republic Bank credit cards are subject to certain rates and fees. Information on those charges, which are subject to change, is set out below. All fees are in XCD.

* The applicable interest rate is determined upon approval of your Account. Based on the information provide with your credit card application, your applicable interest rate could be 22%. You can find your interest rate on the materials accompanying your credit card.

• Proof of income e.g. Job letter or copy of contract and last Pay-slip or cheque stub
• One (1) form of valid photo-bearing ID which discloses nationality
• Proof of address e.g. Utility Bill
• Statements of existing credit facilities not held with Republic Bank, where applicable
• Statement of deposit account for the last 3 months, where salary is being deposited (If not deposited at Republic Bank)
• Any additional documentation will be requested based on purpose of credit facility
